Hey! My name is Lauren Hafezi and I am an intern for Redefine Travel, which is GoTriangle’s initiative to encourage Triangle area college students to use alternative transportation, such as bus, bike, walk or carpool.
This will be the space where I will blog about my adventures as a beginner user of alternative transportation. I will admit that I’m not a big fan of waiting for a bus or arriving sweaty to class after biking there. So for me, this will be a learning experience also.
My hope is that by reading this, you will learn more about alternative transportation and thus, feel more comfortable taking the bus, biking, walking or carpooling.

Hey Lauren! I go to Meredith College, and absolutely love the redefinetravel bus system. Would you like some help with publicity? It’s a wonderful thing, and I wish people knew more about the site–I’m sure they would use it more often.
